Conversations @ STEM

The STEM Center hosts a regular conversation group, covering a wide range of themes in science, technology, engineering, and math. Participants bring their thoughts for an informal discussion of that week’s topic, reflecting on optional articles or just sharing their own experiences with the group. Past topics include teaching controversial topics, using comic strips to teach science, and using a citizen science model in your classroom.

Conversations @ STEM is held in the STEM Resource Center (Science East, Room 1276). If you would like to join our regular mailing list, send your information to stemcenter@siue.edu and you will get regular emails about each topic and background articles with interesting information.
