Elizabeth graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a bachelor of science in education with certifications in K-12 education. During her time as undergraduate student, Elizabeth worked at The EDvolution Center at Southeast Missouri State University where she helped with the teaching and learning of STEM technology and curriculum for K-12 and college education students. She is now pursuing her master’s of science in education with a concentration in college student personnel administration to concentrate in areas that include disability services, TRIO, Upward Bound, transition services, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and Title IX. At the STEM Center, Elizabeth serves as a graduate student supporting science education research and outreach on several projects including Y-CITYSCI, the Environmental Health Investigators, and Safe and Inclusive Field Schools.
